It has been an extraordinary year journeying through the Time Map course at Steiner with Jennifer & Horst Kornberger and our beautiful community. It feels like one of the most amazing gifts in life to have had this opportunity but also to close off the year with the Oraculum, a ritual designed to enliven time. During this ritual, we delivered with presence and love, our poetry from Time Past and Time Future to our audiences interactively. Within this sacred space I  exhibited a series of 7 of my artworks which were painted throughout the Time Map journey, which you can see here.  The artwork created a meditative space with a deep spiritual essence. The event took place within the Steiner School at Bibra Lake, November 25, 2015.

My artwork, 'Polarities, Darkness and Light', was presented the Award for Excellence – 2D in Painting, at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Art Prize, Sept 5, 2015. 

The Judges for this year’s event were Dr Ric Spence artist, writer and curator of the Fremantle Arts Centre, Tracey Luke artist, manager and curator of the Tjukurba Art Centre in Wiluna, and Dr Janice Lally who is currently curator of Public Programs at the University of Western Australia Museums. 

The following judge’s comments were given; “Well handled and confident technique & fluid use of paint with a natural intensity. Brad strokes made good use of the scale and showed a strong sense of purpose…"Mark Lewis, MLC, commented, "Your exhibit Polarities, Darkness & Light certainly took not only the judges eye but that of the many people who attended the evening".

It was a wonderful event to be involved in, I was really touched by the communities support and reception to my work. I am grateful to the Kalgoorlie Boulder Art Prize, for the opportunity to exhibit, and for the encouragement as an emerging artist.
